Peds Neuro

I am on Peds Neurology this week. It is really sad to see all those kids with seizures and most of them are really sick with chronic illnesses like autism, mental retardation, etc, etc....just makes me hug Hannah extra hard each night and be grateful for one healthy child! Anyway I am following one little boy (age 3 yo) who has encephalitis (swelling of the brain) and we cannot find out the cause. It is most probably viral encephalitis but we just don't know and we may never know. The kid could get better in a few days and go home without ever knowing why he was sick for a week. The mysteries of medicine....

Okay so I had every intention to finish my thesis AND update this blog...well neither were accomplished very much this weekend....so here are pictures and video of Hannah at ballet (pre-pre-ballet classes for 3 yr olds!)

hear ye hear ye...check back this weekend to see an updated post with pictures AND video of Hannah. I will be finished with my Psychiatry rotation this Friday and hopefully finish my thesis draft this weekend as well. In between I will post an update with pictures so check back!!!!

Also I got to do ECT - electroconvulsive therapy!!! Anyone interested?
