The Crazy Life

Hi all,
So here's a quick update. I am deep, deep into writing my dissertation (a book of 150-200 pages) detailing what I did in the lab for the past 5 years! My deadline for a complete draft is June 15th...yes people that's less than 5 weeks away and I have 6 chapters. Anyway, those know me from my school days (high school, college) know that I am a PROCRASTINATOR!!! Somehow the pressure of printing out that essay for Englsih class at 6:30am as I am getting ready is just invigorating. Yes, yes I know it is insane but it works maybe not as well as I would like now that I am a mother and wife. Anyway, 5 weeks, 6 chapters that means I need to get busy!!! I'll start a dissertation update/tracker on the side for all those remotely interested or care. And maybe I can sneak in a picture or two of Hannah...and oh did I tell you that I am starting 3rd year medical school on June 18th?!?!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY HANNAH!!!

I can't believe it but my precious little tiny baby is 3 today!!! That's right 3 years ago in Memphis at 4:01pm, I pushed out a 3lbs 5.5 ounce baby who is today a beautiful, funny, charismatic, stubborn, determined, independent, and smart little big girl.

We celebrated with a Build-a-bear and ice cream party with all our friends. Poppa and Sallie even made it for this special occasion. Thank you to our firends and family for all the gifts. Hannah has lots of new toys to play with and beautiful new dresses to wear!
