Ice Cream, you scream...

Hannah screams for ice cream!!! One of Hannah's favorite treats is an ice cream cone or even just a bowl of chocolate ice cream. The pictures during and after are priceless...

We have AIR!!!

an Air Conditioner that is!!! Yes, it's true. Just in time too b/c the temp has been rising here in Chicago hitting the mid 90s this weekend! We were to have moved into a newly renvoated apt with air conditioning and every thing but construction was delayed so we are not moving until Oct. Anyway, we asked about getting a window unit for our current apt and luckily they were able to get us one the same day! It's been so cool!!! We still make use of fans b/c the bedrooms do not have a unit. Oh well, can't have it all!

BEACH!!!!

After we got home from the mall and Hannah's new haircut, we decided to explore the beach near our house. Hannah was sooo excited and she was all ready to go. "Let's go to the beach daddy!"












P.S. Hannah did go in the water. It was cool but she managed to get a little wet.

Hannah's first haircut

Hannah's hair has been getting really long and bushy. She has this long spot in the middle of her head. I have been wanting to get her a trim (Tim offered to do it but...) . We finally made it to KidSnips. Okay, so maybe the cut wasn't worth the $20 bucks I paid but Hannah's hair does fell and look different. First of all her curls are all the same length. They are quite mangeable now. Secondal, she got to sit in a cool car chair and watch Curious George, The Movie while getting her hair snipped. Finally, she got a certificate with her picture and hair clippings, not to mention a red balloon. Anyway, so there maybe it wasn't worth $20 but the memories sure are priceless!!!

Happy Father's day!

We spent Father's Day at Oakbrook Mall in the burbs. It was Tim's favorite place to be on Sunday (note just a hint of sarcasm there!) Hannah had her first haircut and we saw lots of cool cars!
